Every day I get up in the morning,
I take a sip of OJ and swallow down my pills
I watch the news on the TV
Another war began while I was still asleep
Both eyes barely open I take a long deep sigh
At my computer screen
And I just can’t help but wonder
There’s gotta be more, more to life than this
I remember the feeling
We were dancing on the beach and singing
I, I wonder, when did it fade away, cos I want it back
What’s a great car without an engine?
What’s a bed without someone lying next to you?
What’s a dream when you live in a nightmare?
What’s love when you got no one to love?
I realize now I’m getting older
We all have to play our part in this life
But I just can’t help but wonder
There’s gotta be more, more to life than this
